Put it in the clothes dryer with hot setting but WATCH it and check frequently till the wrinkles are gone. Don't let it cook. Good luck. How can I get the wrinkles out of a brand NEW vinyl/oilcloth table cloth it been out of pkg 48 hrs?
PLACE A VERY DAMP TOWEL ON TOP OF AREA %26amp; GET THE HOT IRON TO GO ON TOP %26amp; THE HOT STEAM %26amp; IRON WEIGHT WILL DO TEH JOB BUT U MUST NOT OVER HEAT THIS AREA SO U MOVE THE HOT IRON SLOWLY UP %26amp; DOWN OR SIDE WAYS MOVING ALL THE TIME. HANG IT OVER THE CHAIR OR LAY IT STRAIGHT OVER THE TABLE FLAT,
I have no experience in this at all but have a suggestion.

Assume that Vinyl is subject to heat.

Lay out the ';cloth'; in an area otherwise not affected by my suggestion. Even to the pint of modest stretching.

In whatever way is available to you, Heat up moist towels,,,perhaps a micro wave,,, much as i do for heat packs for muscle strain.

Apply those to the modestly stretched table cloth,, on the already prepped surface, and perhaps weight that evenly with equally large plywood,, or the over turned table in question.

Abstract? Sure? maybe? I've never tried it, but I know the properties of the substances.

If it is completely vinyl, this will be tricky. you could lay it out on a flat surface, the table for instance. Set your iron on steam and put a towel around the iron. Don't press too hard and it will take time so have patience. The wrinkles will come out. Good Luck. You can also just put the iron on a low setting, towel around it and do the same.
You can lay it in the sunshine or hang it in the shower and run the hot water to create steam. The cover can also be machine washed and layed in the sun to dry.

If your table cloth has a cotton backing it can be pressed with an iron set on low. Iron on the cotton side only. Dave
I use a vinyl cloth, and will usually put it into dryer for about 10 minutes or so to get the wrinkles out - and the ';new'; odor!
