I tan, does anyone have tips or tricks to prevent wrinkles?

I am 24 years old and I enjoy tanning, it is certainly an addiction, I don't want to stop at least for the time being, is there any tanners out there with tips or tricks to avoid future wrinkling....no non-tanning bashing please...I tan, does anyone have tips or tricks to prevent wrinkles?
I tan a few times a week or so before summer and then I just tan outside. I think the key to not getting wrinkles it to moisturize a lot. Put on lotion before you tan and after to tan before you get dressed again, also after you shower put on lotion, before you go to bed. Just as much as you can moisturized. Cocoa butter is what i recommend! And if you tan that is fine but avoid getting red and pealing. Just don't over do it and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Get a moisturizing body wash as well.I tan, does anyone have tips or tricks to prevent wrinkles?
Shane, UV exposure means future wrinkles, whether it's from the sun or a tanning bed. And that's the positive side of tanning.

In the US in 2001, there were 58,300 new cases of skin cancer, such as skin melanoma (excluding basal %26amp; squamous), with an estimated 9,600 deaths.

That's nearly 10,000 people *dead* from exposure to UVA and UVB rays. Some spent time outdoors without protection from sunlight, but a fair number of people got the skin cancer that killed them from tanning parlors, using their product as directed.

Fair-skinned people--those who don't easily tan or freckle--are particularly prone to skin damage from UV rays, whether from natural sunlight or tanning beds.

In addition to skin cancers, UV rays age you prematurely, adding to the number and depth of wrinkles and creases. With a tan every summer, by 25 you might look 28, by 35 look 40, by 40 look 50.

It seems a long way away, but you'll get there, and you won't like what you see. If you maintain a year-round tan, look for those effects at an accelerated pace.

So my tip to prevent wrinkles is use sunscreen and wear a hat.

yes tanning is def addictive, i used to tan a lot but i stopped because it's just not worth it in the end. However, if you must tan, i would say moisturize a lot, cocoa butter is excellent, also after u shower put baby oil on your body while it is still damp and rub it in, it locks in a lot of moisture. You can also start using an anti-wrinkle cream, it's never too early for that.

*also moisturizing prolongs your tan so you wont have to tan as often.

*also jergens natural glow is a great lotion that gives you a natural looking tan (not orange).
If its not something your willing to give up use LOTS of suntan lotion and DO NOT burn. I am in the water a ton in the summer and I am a huge fan of Caribbean Solutions lotions. Early in the summer I start out with a SPF 25 and by the end of the summer I usually use an SPF 8 or so. The brand does not have that oily feeling like others do. Here is a link to all the SPF s they sell. If you really want to take care of your skin use an SPF 25.
