Would a child that suffered severe neglect have less wrinkles in the cortex of their brain?

I don't think so..Have you read up on this ??Would a child that suffered severe neglect have less wrinkles in the cortex of their brain?
I don't think that neglect affects the amount of gyri that a brain has. Other brain structures are underdeveloped or never get a chance to develop though. There was a case with a girl named Jeanie who was locked in a room for the first 7 years of her life. She couldn't learn how to speak and she exhibited other behaviors indicative of underdeveloped brain regions. But they never scanned her brain to look at the amount of gyri.Would a child that suffered severe neglect have less wrinkles in the cortex of their brain?
why would it?
